How to Install Curtains

Installations can vary slightly so be sure to follow the instructions carefully on the sheet provided.

Your curtains will arrive ready to go so it’s a good idea to first check you have all the parts by identifying them on the instruction sheet provided.

Step 1 (for top fix curtains)

For double curtains position the top fixing clips for the front track approximately 80mm in front of the rear clips.

Step 1 (for face fit curtains)

NOTE: If you’re fixing your curtains onto plaster board, ensure the brackets are being secured to wall studs.

Step 2 (if track is split)

For tracks over certain widths, they will need to be joined together with the joining components supplied.

Some force may be required to connect the two parts into the joiner.

Step 3: Top Fix

TIP: Gently press the track into the bracket until it ‘snaps’ into place. This will happen when the track clips into the small ridge on the bracket.

Step 4

TIP: The clip on the wand can sometimes be stiff. Gently use pliers to pry it open so it can be attached to the runner.

Step 5: Pleats

TIP: If you require more runners, simply unscrew the end cap of the track and load in as many as you require.

Step 5: S-Fold

TIP: Start the hanging process from the curtain stacking side, with an ‘inward’ facing wave (towards the window). Starting this way will inform the direction of the rest of the folds.

Every track runner should have a dedicated hook on the curtain. Try to be careful, as missing a runner can cause the curtain to hang unevenly.

Step 6

Take the time to dress your curtains (refer to separate curtain care sheet). This will get them looking showroom ready!
